Andrew Tumilowicz

Andrew Tumilowicz is a Founding Partner of Heritage Venue Advisors (HVA).  Mr. Tumilowicz began providing consultancy services in 2010 after exiting his position as Managing Director with a multi-strategy alternative asset management fund. Initially founded as Koll-Eos, LLC in partnership with The Koll Company, Mr. Tumilowicz's consultancy comprises clients ranging from large private equity funds with $10 billion AUM to lower middle market funds and single family offices. Collectively, Mr. Tumilowicz contributed toward $5.5 billion of real estate product including both performing and distressed positions across equity portfolios, debt portfolios, and securitization platforms.

During the period 2011-2015, Mr. Tumilowicz was a primary advisor to Lgreen Capital, LLC, a direct peer-to-peer platform formed around private investors, private equity fund managers, companies seeking capital and other market participants. In this capacity, Mr. Tumilowicz contributed to Lgreen Capital his relationships with 140+ private family investors and 200+ fund managers. These relationships provide unique market insight from investor principals across asset sectors.

Having directly operated both small and large scale real estate positions while partnering with middle market operating companies, Mr. Tumilowicz provides clients with invaluable operational insight paired to sophisticated financial acumen. After spending 12 years managing a real estate portfolio for a private developer in the New York Region, Mr. Tumilowicz joined XE Capital Management, a multi-strategy alternative investment fund with $1 billion in AUM. Approximately half of XE Capital's assets were invested across large scale real estate development projects globally. Initially engaged to build XE Capital's asset management team and valuation methodologies, Mr. Tumilowicz ultimately took over the firm's real estate portfolio as a Managing Director before exiting to found his own companies.

Mr. Tumilowicz holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics from Cornell University.

Garrett Bowden

Garret Bowden has extensive experience across the real estate, hotel, and resort industries.  His career spans over three decades working at leading financial institutions including Chase Manhattan Bank, Cross & Brown (MetLife), and Sumitomo Real Estate.  Over the years he has developed a reputation for creative deal design and execution. An example of this recognition is his team winning The Real Estate Board of New York’s “Most Ingenious Deal of the Year” award.  Recently in his career, Mr. Bowden has evolved into working closely with principals in their corporate development as well as helping investors access novel opportunities. At HVA, Mr. Bowden is focused on investor relationships and communications, sourcing novel opportunities, and assisting our clients in their business development efforts.

Mr. Bowden is an active member of the Real Estate Board of New York, Inc., an Advisory Board Member of the Soldier’s, Sailor’s, Airmen’s and Marines Club, The Explorers Club, a Trustee of the Downtown Association, and active across a variety of additional charitable, philanthropic, and professional organizations. 

He holds a Masters of International Management (M.I.M.) degree in International Finance and Marketing.  He is also an avid Harley enthusiast and rider.

Michael Fogel

For over 20 years Michael Fogel has served as portfolio manager at Fogel Capital Management, Inc where he manages a diverse group of equity and fixed income portfolios for individuals, families, trusts, guardianships, corporations, and Native American governments. Before taking over as Chief Investment Officer for FCM he worked for Lehman Brothers as an equity derivatives and program trader. He was also employed by Prudential Securities as a Performance Analyst evaluating the overall performance of the firms recommended investment managers. Early in his career he was employed by Drexel Burnham Lambert in the Financial Systems and High Yield Department.

Nick Skillman

Nick Skillman started his career at Fogel Capital Management in 2019, where he has served as an investment analyst, developing reports to communicate with clients regarding their security allocation, income projection, risk exposure, tax implications, and scenario analysis. Mr. Skillman holds the Series 65 Uniform Investment Advisor License and strives to provide personalized investment advice for each individual client. He has also enhanced his portfolio analytic capabilities through his participation in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program, where he is currently a Level II Candidate.  Mr. Skillman brings his skills as an experience analyst to the HVA team.
